Be honest;
How often did you think:
If only I would lose 5, 10, 20.. kilos, then I’d be happier?
If only my partner would be at home more often, then I’d be happier?
If only my children would help clean up more, then I’d be happier?
If only my mother would love me more, then I’d be happier?
If only my boss would appreciate me more, then I’d be happier?
If only the weather would be better, then I’d be happier?
If only my body would be healthy, then I’d be happier?
If only I would have another job, then I’d be happier?
If only my husband would see me, then I’d be happier?
If only my neighbours would be more considerate, then I’d be happier?
If only I had more money, then I’d be happier?
If only one would accept me the way I am, then I’d be happier?


Do you never have thoughts like these?
Then I think you must be very happy, or getting there..

Do you have these thoughts once a week, more times a week, every day, many times a day?

Then here is a newsflash:

YOU are responsible for your own happiness!!
Yes, you!!
No one else but you can make you happy.

Think about it, how long have you been trying to change your partner? Your boss, your mother, your neighbours, the weather? And did you ever succeed? And if you finally got appreciation, or if finally you were seen, were you really happy? And how long did that last? Untill they took it away from you again? Or was there already another reason, that made it impossible for you to be happy?

Wake up!
Take responsability for your own happiness, for your own emotions, for your own feelings and for your own thoughts.
Stop making others responable for this.
If you really want to be happy, then this is the first step.
Take responsability for making yourself happy and stop blaming everyone and the whole world for your unhappiness.
